Forest captain Henri Lansbury, as expected, misses the match against Birmingham City as they meet at the City Ground.
The home side could move into 11th if results go their way, but beating Birmingham - in eighth place - will not be easy opposition.
New boy Bojan Jokic starts, with Michael Mancienne also starting. Dexter Blackstock, who was also suggested for a starting roll, is on the subs bench. Gary Gardner might have been considered as a deputy for Lansbury, but he also has to make do with making up the numbers.
