Dougie Freedman's side open the season with a long trip south to face Brighton, which is followed by two winnable home games against Rotherham United and Charlton Athletic.

The first East Midlands derby of the season against Derby comes on November 7 at the City Ground, with the return fixture at the iPro Stadium on March 19.

And here, in case you forgot it, is what happened there last season...

Forest's Boxing Day fixture is a home game against Leeds United, with a trip to Cardiff on December 28 and Charlton away on New Year's Day.

The hardest part of the season may be in January and February, when Forest play Middlesbrough, Leeds, Hull City and Burnley in consecutive away matches.

The season ends with Fulham (a), Wolves (h) and MK Dons (a).
